Project Meeting

        During May 23-26 Linkoping University hosted train the trainer meeting for consortium participants from Russian and Kazakhstan universities. During the intensive training week 12 teachers from partner country universities have covered pedagogical issues of implementing green logistics problems, curricula development in a field, made a few field trips to make partner countries participants familiar with practical side of logistics, learned use of business game within true learning by doing approach and conducted interim project meeting to ensure quality implementation of the project. During the meeting the team from Linkoping University outlined their structure of logistics programme, including the reasoning behind placing it to engineering studies - that was intensively discussed by the partners from technical universities from Kazan and Saint-Petersburg. The consortium had seen the potential of multidisciplinary approach implementation as the experience of Linkoping University. The team from Linkoping had involved partner country trainees in efficient learning by doing process: discussions of curricula and teaching methods, solving open case studies, playing Lean games and Beer game (considered logistics classics) and short training sessions with industry partners to inspire colleagues to change their curricula.

         The meeting was finalized by interim consortium meeting where partners have agreed on the contents and structure of joint module, and discussed the main ways to implement new knowledge in master programme development and future implementation.
