Caspian Public University, Kazakhstan


  CPU was established in 1992 year as an Institution of higher education. During the following 23 years of existence the University has undergone several reorganizations and rebranding activities. In 2013 the University was joined by several specialized Institutes of Higher education. Currently Caspian University is an established three-level educational system which allows students to get up-to-date knowledge  and practical skills via higher educational programs. There are almost 3 thousand students and listeners in five Schools. Since the LogOn-U project has a multidisciplinary approach, the following schools will be the main implementing bodies in the project: 1) School of Economics and Management (Majors: Finance, Accounting and Audit; Economics; Management; Marketing; Public and Local Administration;)

School of Engineering (Majors: Geology and investigation of fields; Architecture; Construction; Computer facilities and software; Automation and management; Life safety and environmental protection); 2) Logistics management program is of high priority for Caspian University’s programs portfolio. That is why currently the University team is preparing the documents needed for Kazakhstani Ministry of Education to license the University to offer a Bachelor diploma in logistics management.

Creation and participation in the this project of development and implementation of Master Programme in “Green Logistics Management” meets main aims of CPU indicated in the Strategy. This Master programme will continue education from bachelor to the next degree level and will strengthen academic content of relevant faculties. Also innovative ICT tools and mechanisms related to European standards and Bologna process will be implemented in Caspian University.
