KNITU

KNITU was founded in 1932 as Kazan Aeronautics Institutions and is one of the first twelve national research technical universities which were named by Russian government in 2009 as basic institutions for higher education and research development in Russia. According to the strategy of KNITU development it has five major areas of development, and one of those spheres is management of complex technical-socioeconomic systems, which was investigated since 1950s at first for the needs of aeronautics industry and later research went further into the sphere of technical-economic systems and relevant processes optimization, where the core competence in mathematical modelling of process dynamics was kept as a platform of research. Within this educational and scientific area a few projects for the industry were carried out, and those were dealing with optimization of management procedures with the supply chain, including processes of supply, transportation: internal and external for the enterprise. Development and implementation of the MSC program "Green Logistics Management" in Kazan National Research Technical University is fully in  line with the long-term interests. The LogOn-U project will meet the current demand of specialists in the field of logistics, especially with the knowledge of the specific management of regional and global perspectives. read more...
